The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for State Fiscal Year 2020-2021 was approved by the Policy Committee on February 12, 2020.

The draft of A/GFTC’s annual work program is available for public comment between now and February 10, 2020. The UPWP is the annual listing of planned staff activities intended to support and advance regional transportation planning objectives. The draft is available under the Publications sections as the 2020-2021 UPWP (draft). Printed copies are also available on request. Comments may be transmitted to A/GFTC at 11 South Street, Suite 203, Glens Falls, NY 12801, through utilization of the contact module, or by email to info@agftc.org. At the request of the City of Glens Falls, Creighton Manning Engineering has completed an operations and pedestrian access analysis of the signalized intersections of Glen Street / Fire Road and Glen Street / Webster Avenue. The draft document contains recommendations and concept-level cost estimates to improve pedestrian mobility as well as vehicular circulation efficiency. Public comments will be accepted on the attached draft through November 6, 2019 prior to finalization by the A/GFTC Planning Committee.

The next meeting of the A/GFTC Policy Committee is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 10:00 in the Supervisors’ Board Room of the Warren County Municipal Center, 1340 State Route 9, Queensbury.

The A/GFTC Policy Committee has approved the 2019 – 2024 Transportation Improvement Program.
