The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is requesting Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding be programmed in the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for four new projects that were included within CDTA’s recently updated capital program and are consistent with FTA’s apportionments to CDTA. A/GFTC’s TIP amendment guidelines stipulate that any requests for new projects be subjected to a minimum 25-day public review and comment period prior to consideration for approval. All four projects are requested for obligation in Federal Fiscal Year 2025-26 and will be funded under the FTA’s Section 5307 program.
