The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has released the draft New York State Transportation Master Plan 2050. The draft plan proposes a community-centered vision for the state’s transportation system that emphasizes the role of transportation in fostering healthy, thriving communities. NYSDOT is continuing to seek comments from the public and other interested groups and organizations on the draft Transportation Master Plan and thus has extended the comment period for feedback for an additional two weeks – through August 11, 2025. All those interested in sharing input are encouraged to go to the project website at New York State Transportation Master Plan – PublicInput to read the plan and submit comments.
