Draft TIP and Air Quality Conformity Determination available for public comment

The Adirondack / Glens Falls Transportation Council (A/GFTC), the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Planning and Programming Area of Warren and Washington Counties and the Town of Moreau in Saratoga County, has released its draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the included draft Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY Air Quality Conformity Determination for public review and comment prior to A/GFTC Policy Committee consideration for approval. The TIP is a five-year listing of planned federally funded investments in the surface transportation system, including improvements to highways, bridges, public transportation infrastructure, and non-motorized transportation facilities. The draft Air Quality Conformity Determination addresses all transportation projects in A/GFTC’s draft 2025-2030 TIP, A/GFTC’s 2045 Ahead Long Range Plan, Capital Region Transportation Council’s (CRTC) 2025-2030 Transportation Improvement Program and the New Visions 2050 Long Range Plan, and the Capital Program of Transportation Projects in Greene, Montgomery and Schoharie Counties. The draft TIP and Conformity Determination are available here. CDTA TIP Amendment requests available for public comment

The Adirondack / Glens Falls Transportation Council’s (A/GFTC) hereby releases for public review and comment the following requests from the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) to amend the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to add additional Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds to facilitate the following capital projects:

  • $50,000 ($40,000 federal share, $10,000 local share) for passenger facility improvements, including signing and shelters at various locations within CDTA’s service area
  • $1,430,000 ( $1,144,000 federal share, $286,000 local share) for bus and trolley replacements and expansions

FINAL Greenwich Town/Village Bicycle-Pedestrian Plan

This plan provides a long-term vision for improving bicycle and pedestrian connections within the Town and Village. The goal of the plan is to allow residents and visitors to better utilize existing community amenities while improved connections to the Empire State Trail will support the local economy.
