DRAFT Warren Co. EV Charging Station Assessment

The Draft Warren County Electric Vehicle Charging Station Assessment is now available for review and comment. (Click here for link). This document provides a general overview of EV charging needs, gaps, opportunities, and challenges for the rural areas of Warren County, New York. Proposed 22-23 UPWP amendments – public comment

The following two proposed amendments to the 2022-23 UPWP are available for public review and comment: (1) Add Safe and Accessible Transportation Options setaside, and (2) Accelerate planned analysis of GFHS / MS access to this current year program. TIP amendment request – Bridge NY awards – public comment

A/GFTC staff is requesting amendments to the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program to add two new bridge projects via the competitively solicited Bridge NY program – Hudson Street over Mill Creek in Johnsburg (Warren County) and County Route 3 over Mill Brook in the Town of Putnam (Washington County). TIP amendment request – NYS 9N, Lake George – public comment

The Town of Lake George is requesting an amendment to the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program to add $250,000 for the Preliminary Engineering phase of an improvement project for NYS 9N from the Village boundary northward to Hearthstone Point campground. Draft Mill Pond Pedestrian Improvements study

The draft Mill Pond Pedestrian Improvements study has been presented to the Horicon Town Board and is now available for public review and comment. The draft report is available here.

Draft 2023-2024 UPWP – public comment

The A/GFTC Planning Committee has approved the attached draft 2023-2024 Unified Planning Work Program for public review and comment. The UPWP is A/GFTC’s annual work program and contains a listing of proposed and intended federally funded transportation planning tasks to be carried out during the upcoming State Fiscal Year (4/1/23 – 3/31/24) by staff, member agency staff, and consultant assistance. Draft Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan Update

A draft of the updated Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP) is now available for public comment.

The purpose of the CHSTP is to provide a framework for the coordination of transportation services within the planning area with an emphasis on services for aging adults and persons with disabilities. This Plan will provide a structure for the development of projects that address the transportation needs of the targeted populations by improving coordination between transportation stakeholders (agencies, clients, operators, and regulatory entities).
In addition, the CHSTP sets forth priorities for key Federal Transit Administration (FTA) programs.

Draft Salem Pedestrian Connections study

The draft Salem Pedestrian Connections Study is available for public review and comment. The intent of the plan is to identify conceptual pedestrian/bicycle and streetscape improvements in and around the former Village and to build on previous planning efforts, with emphases on improvements to the streetscape and pedestrian amenities.
