Draft Exit 17 TIP Amendment request

The New York State Department of Transportation has requested an amendment to the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program that would add approximately $11M to the scope of the Exit 17 bridge replacement and ramp reconfiguration project. This amendment request has been reviewed and Approved by the A/GFTC Planning Committee for release for a 30-day public comment and review period prior to Policy Committee approval. Draft Air Quality Conformity Determination

The draft Air Quality Conformity Determination for the Albany-Schenectady-Troy 1997 8 Hour Ozone Non-Attainment Area is available for public review and comment prior to Policy Committee consideration as final. This new conformity determination was triggered by Capital District Transportation Committee’s update of its New Visions 2050 metropolitan transportation plan. The report confirms that projects listed in A/GFTC’s and CDTC’s long range plans (LRPs) and Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) meet all applicable transportation conformity requirements.

Draft TIP available for public comment

The A/GFTC Planning Committee has approved the draft 2019-2024 Transportation Improvement Program, Self-Certification, and Capital District Air Quality Conformity Determination for public review and comment prior to Policy Committee consideration. NYSDOT TIP Amendment Request – CR 61 / Battenkill RR Grade Crossing Signal Improvements

The New York State Department of Transportation is requesting an amendment to the 2016-2021 A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program to add $231,000 of Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) – Rail funds for a rail crossing signal upgrade in the Town of Salem. Warren County Bikeway Extension Plan – public workhsop

A public workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 17 at 6:00 PM at the Town of Lake George Town Hall to present work-to-date on the planning project to identify a future extension of the Warren County Bikeway connecting Lake George and Warrensburg. Our lead consultant, Alta Planning + Design, will conduct the workshop. Staff from the Town and Village of Lake George as well as A/GFTC will be available for questions and comments.
