NOTE: This document also includes the draft Albany – Schenectady – Troy, NY Air Quality Conformity Determination, which addresses all transportation projects in the Capital Region Transportation Council (CRTC, formerly known as Capital District Transportation Committee) 2022-2027 Transportation Improvement Program and the New Visions 2050 Long Range Plan, the Adirondack/Glens Falls Transportation Council (A/GFTC) 2022-2027 Transportation Improvement Program and 2045 Ahead Long Range Plan, and the Capital Program of Transportation Projects in Greene, Montgomery and Schoharie Counties.

DRAFT Long Range Plan Presentation

A presentation of the Draft Long Range Plan update, 2045 Ahead, will be given at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 as part of the A/GFTC Planning Committee meeting. The presentation will include an overview of planning principles and future priorities concerning safety, road and bridge conditions, traffic congestion, public transportation, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and more. A recording of the presentation and the draft plan will be posted on this website after the meeting. DRAFT White Creek Pedestrian and Parking Study Available

The draft Town of White Creek Pedestrian and Parking Feasibility Study is now available for public comment through August 9, 2023. This study examined pedestrian improvements and parking needs near the Cambridge Community Forest and Town Hall area including Rockside Drive and Mountain View Drive. Long Range Plan Map & Survey Now Available

DRAFT Warren Co. EV Charging Station Assessment

The Draft Warren County Electric Vehicle Charging Station Assessment is now available for review and comment. (Click here for link). This document provides a general overview of EV charging needs, gaps, opportunities, and challenges for the rural areas of Warren County, New York. Proposed 22-23 UPWP amendments – public comment

The following two proposed amendments to the 2022-23 UPWP are available for public review and comment: (1) Add Safe and Accessible Transportation Options setaside, and (2) Accelerate planned analysis of GFHS / MS access to this current year program. TIP amendment request – Bridge NY awards – public comment

A/GFTC staff is requesting amendments to the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program to add two new bridge projects via the competitively solicited Bridge NY program – Hudson Street over Mill Creek in Johnsburg (Warren County) and County Route 3 over Mill Brook in the Town of Putnam (Washington County). TIP amendment request – NYS 9N, Lake George – public comment

The Town of Lake George is requesting an amendment to the A/GFTC Transportation Improvement Program to add $250,000 for the Preliminary Engineering phase of an improvement project for NYS 9N from the Village boundary northward to Hearthstone Point campground.
